Play therapy uses play, a child’s natural form of communication to help express his/her feelings, concerns and worries through the use of toys rather than words. The Association for Play Therapy defines play therapy as “the systematic use of a theoretical model to establish an interpersonal process wherein trained play therapists use the therapeutic powers of play to help clients prevent or resolve psycho-social difficulties and achieve optimal growth and development.” Play therapy designed specifically for children between the ages of 3 and 14. Based in Greenville, Delaware: ALL SESSIONS ARE CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY.
