Play therapy is for children (both boys and girls) ages 3 – 14 that are under stress or exhibiting behavior problems due to:
- Parental Separation and/or Divorce
- Peer or Socialization Difficulties (including bullying)
- Anxieties or Excessive Worrying
- Death in the Family or Loss of Loved One
- Developmental Delays
- Abuse / Neglect or other Trauma
- Unresolved Aggression
Play therapy can develop a more positive self-esteem and promote wellness for children with:
- ADD/ADHD
- Asperger’s Syndrome/Autism
- Bipolar Disorder
- Depression
- Obsesive Compulsive Disorder
- Chronic/Terminal Illnesses (such as diabetes, cancer, cystic fibrosis, asthma)
